Welcome to Flying Carpets. By accessing or using our website (www.flyingcarpets.my) and purchasing our products or services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”).

Please read them carefully before using our site or making a purchase.

1. General Terms

  • Flying Carpets is a Malaysia-based business specializing in premium rugs, including hand-knotted, Persian, Oriental, hand-tufted and custom-made rugs. While also providing washing and repairing services.

  • By using our site, you agree to comply with all applicable Malaysian laws and any relevant international regulations (if applicable).

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

2. Product Information

  • All rugs are photographed and described as accurately as possible. Due to the rug nature and screen differences, slight color/design variations may occur.

  • Rug measurements are approximate and may vary slightly (+/- 5%).

  • Product availability is subject to change without notice. We may discontinue items at any time.

3. Custom Orders

  • Custom rug production begins only after a design is confirmed and a deposit (minimum 50%) is received.

  • Estimated Delivery Times:

    • Sea freight: 3 months (production + shipping)

    • Air freight: 2 months (optional, extra charges apply)

     

  • Custom orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once confirmed.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include SST where applicable.

  • We accept secure online payments via credit/debit card, bank transfer, FPX, and selected e-wallets.

  • For custom or large-value orders, manual invoicing and staged payments may be used.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • See our Shipping Policy for details on domestic and international shipping, custom delivery timelines, and self-pickup options.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, customs, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon delivery or collection.

6. Returns & Refunds

  • Due to the nature of rugs, we do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind.

  • Exchanges may be considered for defective or damaged products within 3 days of receipt, provided the item is unused and in original condition.

  • Custom or made-to-order rugs are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable., unless it was damaged or defected by us.

7. Installation Services

  • We offer rug delivery and placement services/.

  • Installation fees vary by location, and complexity.

  • We are not responsible for damages to customer property during installation unless due to negligence on our part.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this site (including images, designs, logos, copywriting) is the property of Flying Carpets and may not be used without written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • We shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services.

  • Our liability is limited to the purchase amount of the product in question.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
